- The European Commission adopted and enforced a bill requiring
all EU member countries to apply plastic bottles and caps connected designs
by 2025. (Reference: Newsroom /Dataroom)
Implementing the PET B to B system (Bottle to Botte)
- Recycling of PET bottles used for food and using them again
as PET bottles for food is introduced
Revised the criteria for 9 packaging materials including PET bottles and their grade of ease of recycling (Revision announced on 17 April 2010 and effective 25 December 2019
- Re-regulate the criteria for recycling nine packaging materials, including
PET bottles, and tighten regulations to ensure that the products are designed
from the beginning of the design and production phase for easy recycling
of these packaging materials.
- Enforcement law for phasing out the use of adhesive labels for PET bottles
and for establishing life culture of separating labels and bottle caps
from PET bottles.
